Boti WaterFalls

1 Day Max 20 people None

Located in the Yilo Krobo District of the Eastern Region, Boti Waterfalls is a seasonal twin waterfall—often referred to as the "male" and "female" falls—sourced from the Ponmpon River. It is famously part of a "three-in-one" adventure package that includes the Umbrella Rock and the Three-Headed Palm Tree. The Experience The Twin Falls: Witness the "male" and "female" cascades. Local legend says when the two meet during high flow, a rainbow is formed, signifying they are "mating." The 250-Step Descent: To reach the plunge pool for a refreshing swim, you must descend a steep concrete staircase into the cool, rocky canyon. Umbrella Rock Hike: A 30-45 minute moderate hike uphill leads to a massive, naturally weathered rock formation that resembles a giant umbrella, offering stunning views of the forest below. The Three-Headed Palm Tree: Located near the rock, this rare botanical anomaly features a single trunk that splits into three distinct, fruit-bearing heads. Travel Time from Accra Boti is approximately 90–100 km from Accra. By Car: The drive typically takes 2 to 3 hours via the N6 (towards Koforidua). The final stretch involves winding, unpaved roads through scenic villages.
